Day 1: Arrival – Airport Pickup

Day 2: Gorilla Trek in Volcanoes National Park

Gorilla trekking is one of the motives why lots of travelers pack for this destination in the north western part of Rwanda.

Early in the morning, be at the park offices in Kinigi for the briefing conducted to highlight tourists about Gorilla trek.

After briefing, the amazing Journey to the Jungle starts in search of these apes. You are allowed to be in their presence for only one hour and after return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes.

After morning breakfast at the lodge, transfer to the park headquarters in Kinigi. Travelers are first briefed about dos and don’ts while in the presence of Golden monkeys.

Then, a Journey to the Jungle starts in a group, these primates are mostly found in the mountainous bamboo forested areas. Physical fitness is a major requirement.

Like Chimpanzee tracking, you are allowed to be in their presence for some time and later return to the lodge.

Day 4: Volcanoes – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, check out for the scenic drive from Volcanoes to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. It takes about 3-4 hours for the drive. You will arrive in the afternoon, check in at the lodge and relax.

Mid-range: Gorilla Mist Camp.

Luxury: Mahogany Springs.

Day 5: Trek Gorillas in Bwindi – Visit the Batwa

Early in the morning, our guide will drive you from the lodge up to the Park headquarters – Visitors are first briefed about the Gorilla Trek and after start the journey to the Jungle.

Only eight individuals are allowed to track each Gorilla family per day. After locating these apes, you are allowed to be in their presence for one hour – Return to the lodge for relaxation before you visit the Batwa people.

Day 6: Nature Walk in Bwindi Forest National Park

You will start with a guided nature walk through Bwindi’s great trails – Buhoma side is the best for nature walks. After return to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 7: Bwindi – Transfer back to Kigali

After beautiful moments in Bwindi transfer back to Kigali and you will cross via Cyanika border. This drive awards spectacular views of rolling hills, towering cliffs, picturesque escarpments and more.

Day 8: Kigali - Departure

Depending on your flight time, you can enjoy Kigali’s remarkable cityscapes – Visit the bank to withdraw some money or exchange local currency notes into your home currency – visit Kigali genocide memorial and after transfer to the airport for your return flight.
